This is about 33% above what Russia emitted in 2018 according to its GHG inventory i.e. Russia's emissions will grow between now and 2030.

 

There is no commitment to peak emissions either, though there is a glimpse of hope on the 2050 horizon.
It is unfortunate that other former #sovietunion countries, even the ones not endowed with own oilandgas, feel compelled to follow the lead and pump their NDCs with hotair.
Problems participating in international carbonmarkets are virtually guaranteed for such countries.
